Prayers, uplifting thoughts, and encouragement for others

I'm generally in a bad mood because of my burnt fingers. I've moved from the pain stage to the itchy phase though; and they are not infected so I'm on the mend. This Silvadene cream they gave me is amazing. :dunno:

But it forced me to cancel my weekend plans and the wife is out of pocket. I can't play guitar or go to my cabin, which are great sources of joy in my life, along with my beautiful wife, so I'm stuck here on a guitar forum arguing with people I don't know basically to distract me. :lol:

BUT, it really sucks typing with one hand ..... FUUUUUUU

Lost weekend; we never get 'em back and it sucks to high heaven.

Should we be praying for The Kid? Hope he gets the help he needs. Seriously.

Ok. Sorry about that.
Was not meant disrespectfully at all.
It's not a beef. The guy obviously has some mental issues, i have some extended family members that have some similar issues. I won't mention it again.

I don't have the credentials or authority for that. I had thought about doing a daily saints thread but fear there would be a couple of people who might take the opportunity to drag it into the mud and I don't want that.

The thread is just meant to be a place of refuge and help for those who need it regardless of their personal beliefs or lack thereof. I have no problem with someone messaging me directly either if they don't wish to post it publicly. I don't share personal info, the end.

When we don't have money and resources to help others we can offer our prayers. That's what I have. I know some people criticize that as empty, and often times it is, but I try to make praying for the sick and deceased and others who need it part of my prayer rule. Unfortunately I have a long list of dead friends to pray for but knowing there is still something I can do for them is a blessing. ☦️

Aside from being thankful to God also thankful to Brother Von @VonBonfire for really bringing God into my heart, mind and thoughts and showing me what the Lord was trying to tell me......

Brother Von really knows what hes talking about and Im not a big religious guy or read the Bible a lot but he really has a way of speaking the word of God and the message of the Bible.

That sucks man..... Get better and all and hopefully sooner than later ^_^
 
My mother is in ICU. Her condition is very bad and she's suffering. One of the shots they have to give her is directly into her stomach. She's in her 80's and she doesn't want any more transfusions.
Please keep her in your prayers. Thank you! Numbers 6:24-26
