The situation...

Just a parts guitar I threw together. I got the unfinished body off a dude on Reverb. The neck is a Gibson scale from Warmoth. Pickups are Rio Grande Buffalo-trons and trem is a Duesenberg Radiator I think. I was obviously going for the Billy Gibbons vibe at the time.
Oh and a sweet strap from Well-Hung

I did actually think about some gold hardware but the whole project stemmed from these Buffalo nickel knobs I had and really wanted to use lol
The knobs are sweet. The whole guitar kicks ass. Check out this axe my rhythm player showed up with today. Some neo soul so cal surf vibes

It's a Harmony brand.....I guess Heritage bought the rights to the name and are making those in Kalamazoo. Super easy action and very nice tone. The gold foils sounded great through his Morgan with the tone rolled halfway back. Perfect neo soul tone from an unexpected source....

So you are saying you have a backup for the gig?

Although that gold paint is Neo-Soul tone sucking 😂

The new Harmony combo amps look really good to me. I doubt I’ll ever get one, but very interesting

I wasn't expecting that build quality on the guitar. It played amazing. Not really my bag but it suited his style well. Ebony board too. A really nice, almost totally black ebony board. I'll have to look at their amps. I wonder if they are making them or if it's farmed out....

I didn't know EMGs were allowed in the door of the Neo Soul club! Allright! I'm in.View attachment 414582
I was this close 🤏 to clicking report post until I saw all that gold. Literally clamping down the latticework at the nut with precious metals. Amazing choice for a neo soul instrument. The "LTD" on the headstock says not just anyone can have this cause it's limited, which hearkens back to the early years of the whole movement.

Pay close attention to the kahler trem and locking nut on mine as well… very limited in quantity but great in quantity… no piddlyante floyd on this tone machine…. No nothing but the largest hunk of stainless steel and brass roller saddles for maximum strength transmission of Neo soul…..
