Absolutely.
I'm setup to record DI captures at the moment. This was the amp with a DI box tapping the signal before the cabinet and one of my IRs loaded in the daw. No post processing.

It was last year. I can't remember much about it. A friend of mine borrowed my PTEQ months ago. After I get it back I will do a direct comparison with my Mark IV. Trying my and your settings.
I think the best way to do it would be with a spectrum analyzer. Comparing one band at a time. Then matching the entire sound.
I'm more interested now than ever.

I would love to try one out. The mesa 5 band eq pedal is my dream eq… but between the pultec that Wayne made, my mxr 10band, and my secret weapon… bbe sonic stomp… I am eq’d to fuck and back… still want another pultec…
