Hang on, Lets look at this...

Have you fixed the offending Marshall Cab Jack?

Did it actually Short, or did a wire break and was it and an Open circuit?

From an Electrical standpoint, a 0.1 Ohm short is a lot closer to 4/8/16 Ohms compared to an Open Circuit, and is less likely to let the magic smoke out of the Output Tranny.

I agree with @Dan Gleesak : pull all the preamp tubes from the PI forward and see which one, if any, is a guilty bastard. Starting with the Phase Invertor and working your way to the V1

Yes I fixed the jack. I didn’t solder the connectors but I did squeeze them with needle noses… hard to get them back on the input jack so should be fine.

I just assumed that it fried the ot because the connectors were barely touching so I assumed it was a no load situation. I was playing and the volume dropped and hiss 🐍

If you Ohm out the OT.... just Ohm Meter on the speaker jack of the amp... what do you get?

if it is Hissing, that sound is coming from somewhere, through that OT to the speaker

Set it up and the green channel was fine. Weird. Crunch mode was good. Just for the hell of it I flipped it over to the red channel. It’s working. wtf 🤬? Don’t get me wrong I’m happy but like I said….wtf?

Did you pull and re-seat the tubes?

You may have just had a corroded/Dirty Pin of socket making you rethink your life choices....

Either way, don't be surprised if the issue returns, but until then, you know what time it is...

NEO SOUL Time!

Good deal! Definitely grab some Deoxit or contact cleaner and spray the tube sockets, and put a tube in/out a few times in each tube slot as ^^ stated above. If you have good power/sound now, that rules out a catastrophic failure of the OT. Something small and fixable!

That’s the only thing I did not do… clean the tube sockets….
