It would be fun to throw together a gigantic egoboard like that as long as you didn’t have to move it.

CIOKS...... Nothing better in the market IMO as far as power and low noise floor. No wonder Vai uses it, pretty much zero to no added noise floor.

True Tone, Voodoo Lab and Strymon aren't bad but IME CIOKS is simply the best in quality and value..... Made in Europe/Poland. Great thing too is if all you mainly have is analog units like me and some digital here or there you can ISO your digital stuff and power up to 11 or more low draw analog units with zero added noise...... What's cool IME as well is no need to keep the cables tidy or anything either..... Multi stage noise filtering is awesome 😎

You can even buy the smaller CIOKS 4 expander for a song and power it with a laptop, PS5, cellphone charger, power bank with the same noise filtering and quality. Just top notch stuff.

Shit just filters out all the noise flawlessly, also spilled beer on mine on a stage once and no problems either...... Good stuff IME :dunno:

What's cool to note here is Vai don't have no real fancy Boutique BS when it comes to his board.....

It's all mainly just off the shelf stuff anyone can get at GC or pretty much any regular guitar shop..... No Boutique fancy shit.... No smoke and mirrors..... Just simple, straight up and straightforward set up and pedalboard for what it is.

Being Vai you'd think it would be all this fancy Boutique shit and whatever but nope..... Mainly regular old stuff.

he uses what he knows, what works for him.

I'm a big Cure and Smiths fan; in their best days they were using Boss pedals, Roland JC-120 and Fender Twins...like many bar bands. Some sweet vintage guitars tho'

Another is some of these songs I’ve never actually heard . But I have played them in guitar mags . So it’s pretty infesting listen for me .
