Just saw last night that the VTM pedal is available for purchase. I had to order directly through Peavey. Hopefully it won’t take too long to get here.
Of course a clip/video will be done. I’m curious to hear how close it sounds to my VTM 60. I do have a Peavey 60 watt tube power amp to run it through too.

Are you going to run it through a clean amp like a Fender? I like the idea of running it through a rack power amp. I hope it sounds good

Dude please boost the amp and the pedal to compare them. One of the sickest tones I’ve heard on this forum is your boosted VTM in that one vid you shared randomly ages ago.

curious how it compares to the real amp through a tube power amp, this is one of those amps ive always wanted and just never came around

I’m going to run it into the effects return of my VTM60 and also through my Peavey Classic series 60 watt (6L6) mono tube power amp.

Yeah man, I’ll definitely compare the two boosted and unboosted. I have a SD-1 and a BBE Green Screamer (TS808 based). I love VTM’s.
What are the magic settings for the dip switches?
Everyone has their favorite settings. Me personally, I run the gain at noon or just under. I use only the Gain 1 dipswitch 99% of the time. Occasionally I’ll also tut on the Gain 2. The Compression dipswitch is cool, but I rarely use it.
I run those settings with a boost pedal for some stuff.
These lower gain settings combined with my drop B tuning, 10-52 strings and a PAF type pickup gives me the right amount of gain, tightness, clarity and volume rollback cleans I like.
