TWO QUESTIONS FOR AMERICA

As I’ve said, the protectionist tariffs aren’t the issue.
It’s the other points I’ve referenced in my previous post #292
Your assertions are drawn from emotion as you have no actual proof of what you claim.

News services today being used as your evidence is clasping at straws because anyone with the slightest intelligence knows news services never tell the actual truth and they contextualize by omission anything to suit their narrative to the public.

transparently dodgy.
Kind of a weird combination of words.

Meantime, Australia has little choice to comply because if we quit our two- decade old AFTA (free trade agreement), then Australian citizens lose their jobs, especially in mining and raw resources, not to mention jeopardising future trade agreements going forward.
That is a crappy position to be in. I do understand your frustration. Since tariffs can be lowered or eliminated pretty easily, hopefully things will improve for you in the future.

Phoney Iommi is a brotherfucker. :ROFLMAO:

"Trying to rationally discuss anything with these morons is a waste of time"

...but the fucking moron is here 24/7, what a dumb fuck Dantifa Nosack is! :ROFLMAO:

Trying to rationally discuss anything with these morons is a waste of time, brother.
Such a fucktard you are. If you cared to pay attention you'd notice it's been a pretty rational discussion with jdel. That's what can happen when you don't call everyone who disagrees a MAGA cultist and spam retarded memes.

Can you provide detail of why Trump is an idiot as you said below? Is your political leader smarter and wiser than Trump? Who would make a better leader for the US than Trump and why?

"The idiot in the White House right now is fucking over more countries than just yours."

From where I sit, anybody putting their country first is considered an idiot because it doesn't sit well with countries feeding off the tit of the US.
Same can be said of Putin's haters' views.

Trump ain't perfect and there are things he does that I'm in violent disagreement with but he is the best of a bad lot and your county's political theater is a massive joke run by politicians who stab each other and steal their positions regularly. Why have an election, let them vote in whoever then they are stabbed and replaced by a person that wasn't voted for. Before you say they vote the party in that isn't true because it's an individual out beating the boards to get elected and the people vote that person and not the party...if you're honest.

As you say, the focus is on preferential party politics here. Things like spills are accounted for within Australian politics at Federal or State level.

As I’ve mentioned, Trump is ruining your economy to benefit himself and his billionaire associates.
Trump has never acted in anyone’s interest but his own; this has not and will not change throughout his two terms.

So, in the moment of a question he doesn't have an answer he's overall clueless? You're joking...right.

It’s a pattern with Trump that he mindlessly talks, promises, attacks on a whim.
He called Mandami a communist lunatic the other week, now he’s drawing political parallels with him.

What does he actually stand for?

Incentives to actual workers who are needed are now considered political favors? Again, you're joking...right.

But, only to workers loyal to Trump. Not America, not the Constitution. Trump.

You want to talk about political favors and payoffs, take a look at the Dems and at every corner there is a payoff to perpetuate their agendas.

I agree. There’s rampant corruption on either side, because it’s full of human beings.
American politics unique in that there’s no limit to corporate political sponsoring and as a result of any kind of product branding, it appeals to the lowest common denominator and so can’t help but become polarised.

You cannot be slightly Progressive without being labeled a fag-loving Leftist, nor can you be mildly Conservative without being labeled a redneck hick fuck.
It’s a terrible state of affairs when such dualistic polarisation is endemic to a country’s social culture.

Clinton at least showed a mix of economic conservatism with progressive social policies, but the ability to competently blend such approaches is now all but gone these days when each voter must belong in Column A or B.

Appreciating the discussion @NoHassle

I agree. It's like a large number of people made their political ideology their entire identity.
