Christopher Cross - did anyone here know Chris can slay on guitar?

Badlands - Live At City Limits - Dallas, TX - 07/25/1991 - Z Rock Radio Broadcast

I am SO happy and feel so fortunate I got to see Badlands up close and personal 1989, here in New Jersey. Ray Gillen was a local boy and was pointing and calling people out in the crowd all night. Jakes tone was massive. Ray's voice right up there with the greatest rock singers of any era.

I saw this show in New Jersey. Suicidal Tendencies opened. Fantastic stuff.

    Favorite PAF style pickups

The best ever I personally tried was the Tim White (Timbucker) Ed A wind. Problem was, it squealed like a stuck pig under even moderate gain. The Gibson 57 Classics sound great in one of my Les Pauls and I am using the Duncan Whole Lotta Humbucker set in my Gibson R9 right now - probably the...

    Mercyful Fate Is Friggin Awesome!

Oh hell yeah! This album totally flies under the radar, it is so damn good. The Uninvited Guest and Mad Arab Part 2 kick tail.

Pickup for LP with big bottom

Rio Grande BBQ: My Les Paul Custom sounded huge with this pickup in the bridge. Can tend to veer towards "dark" though in certain applications. Someone else mentioned the Duncan Whole Lotta Humbucker and I concur. I have these in my Gibson R9 and that guitar has never had a set of balls like...

    Paul takes a Solo..

My understanding is that Paul plays the solo in "World Without Heroes" which is a nice atmospheric, almost David Gilmour thing.

    Sammy and his Dead Horse

I enjoy both the Dave and Sammy years with a HUGE preference towards the Dave years. I always viewed Hagar as a likeable guy that would be super fun to hang out or jam with. However, his comments to the press have gone from simply that, to angry vitriol of an artist in the twilight of his...

How many of you are Strat guys?

I LOVE this guitar! Those are big frets - Dunlop 6100s?

How many of you are Strat guys?

I absolutely love it. It is a wonderful sounding and playing guitar. I had no problem acclimating to the scalloped neck. One minor complaint (that others have noted as well) is the high E tends to slide off the side of the neck too easily, especially at the higher frets.

How many of you are Strat guys?

Yeah, I would say I am a Strat guy. Here are mine. I also have a Charvel Strat. Left to right: 1) 1972 Strat. Real one - not a reissue. My first ever electric guitar 2) 2001 Yngwie Malmsteen 3) 1987 Japanese 1972 Reissue 4) 2000 American Reissue 1957
