Nah, I am not doing all of the crazy and rigorous testing like the last thread. In the end, i could not find a correlation to the audible difference myself and a fellow master engineer could hear very well. Blind testing was done, etc.

Welp, you know me, I am always doing comparisons.
This time, I figured the difference would be minute but I was WRONG.

Yep, that's the exact sound that came up in my head. Being a fan of the older South Park stuff since far too young of an age, that dropping bass sound is ingrained in my aural memory.
I think this would vary depending on a number of factors. I think older guitars, that are made with some of that 'old world's lumber that is extra aged/dense has something about it that affects the frequency range.
Would I think that a few ounces in a modern guitar would make a difference...
