is just more mass on the headstock, same deal with groove tubes fatfinger or fathead

ime heavier tuners do have better tone for sure, especially on bolt on guitar, but sadly you have to deal with neck drive issues

very impressed with the Rivera TBR-3 so i had to make some IR's, im using emg single coils, nembrini jmp1 vst and very old/rusty strings for the test. Raw tone, no eq.

2 things for me, pickups and preamp pedal i prefer the dimarzio/dod tone to the new duncan/fender

i think that big bands that are able to deal with amps are going to back with tubes with some kind of digital IR like Trivium, best of both worlds
