I noticed this a lot on extreme metal releases recently too, - ton of delay/reverb and it sounds like shit most the time.

The one I had balanced super well. It feels more like an LP than an SG as far as heft of the body goes, much much thicker than an SG.

They recently repaired my tremoverb and the experience was the same as I had multiple times prior to Gibson

I think it’s an L take that people have, all the amps he demos sound different. Yeah it sounds like Ola playing them but the tone characteristics are noticeably unique.
