Wondering what everyone’s opinions are on the best clean tone on a high gain amp, going between going all clean / pedals , or looking for a high gainer with a great clean tone .

He’s still out there , I actually wanted on for the lore as well and reached out lol , but who knows if they will be built , I’d buy one for the right price tho

No , it’s mainly to try save a little extra cash tbh budget is tight lately and I can probably get around 2500ish for my half stack so I wanted to get combo to tie me over and save a little cash

Not that heavy , I’d say nails , Eyehategod , more sludge hardcore stuff ,

Like to keep it around 1500 range on the used market

Looking to downsize my rig possibly what’s a good combo amp for high gain metal stuff ?

No one is modding orange amps really I only know of two people but surprised at how large they are and relatively cheap on the market they aren’t being modded more .

I know it’s from an old wizard I got for a clone I wanted to get built but never happened now I’m like hmm maybe I toss it in and see what happens

Running a high/low pass filter in front of a rockerverb I can def get some more modern chug not razor tight . But it can do metal in that sense no problem

For the prices these can be had at I would recommend grabbing one !

Moneys tight but the deal was too good .. This thing really surprised me just an overall super solid amp , cleans are great can do the mid gain Marshall vibe all the way to chug. It’s loud AF too . Sleeper amp for the money 100%
