Yeah the only thing they have in common is the super quick/tight response- the Mesa is sharper sounding and more articulate and the Marshall is bigger and sounds more like other amps- my big three are the 5gs, hell razor, and Larry

It’s definitely insanely fun to play! Clips don’t do that justice and they sound really big in the room too

Amp was super loud so expect some noise at times- I mixed in a Klon style pedal on top to the end just for fun

I think the hell razor is the closest I’ve gotten to my Larry in terms of immediacy and punch (maybe a Hermansson)

I dont remember which, but ive had to pay import for amps that weren't wizard- I think canada post bakes the cost into the shipping

Not sure about tariffs, but I didn’t have to pay import on my hr in 2023, and my friend got one in 2025 for the same price (besides 40$ extra shipping cost)

I’d agree- my 25th anniversary was really cool, but for my personal taste the mkii is what I’d go for for anything that wasn’t leads

A used fm3 will be cheaper and have exponentially more features and options (and amp models lol)

I love how the amp community is small enough that you can trace who got an amp from a batch to who ended up with the amp! Not that I see any pmm owners selling theirs- the people I know who have them love em
