Hey, how does the presence control factor into each IE-4 channel? Is it somehow incorporated into the tonestack like 4th band? Is there some kind of artificial negative feedback loop created with the tranny and some diodes? Is it just a passive filter with a pot and cap feeding some...

I'm sick of the Fish hype, but I can't do anything about it, since I've never played one. I just jammed extensively on my IE4 and M4, and can't believe something like a blue faceplate and some guy's name can make the thing cost $3k, especially considering the features, parts, design, etc...

My M4 and IE-4 can't be touched. Seriously, they sound better than everything else. I have pretty much stopped looking for preamps. :rock: There are so many crazed fanboys worshipping at the altars of inferior preamps, it's sickening. I've owned so many inferior preamps, it's disgusting...
