Okay, I just ordered an unloaded Emperor 412. I have an x-pattern of K85's and T75's here. Should I just try that first? Or start grabbing other stuff? Greenbacks? Swamp Thangs? CL80's? BTW, I'm only using 16 ohm speakers, so I can't use EVM12L's or anything that only comes in 8 ohms.

Maybe, I've had isolated experiences, but, I find non-locking Gotohs/Grovers/Schallers/Sperzels stay in tune better than Sperzel Locking tuners, and have a finer gear ratio that facilitates more precise tuning. Less "Up and down" tuning to hit the mark. Am I alone on this. :confused...

Okay, the presence knob. :confused: Is it correctly functioning if the sound gets darker and slightly quieter(lower output) as one turns the knob clockwise? This seems to be opposite of what normal amps do. Plus, the volume normally shouldn't change. Or does my unit have a cap that isn't...

Okay, I turned it on, and the volume was like 1/10th the normal volume. I plugged a preamp into the fx return to see if it was a preamp issue. Still 1/10th the volume. same story. Then, I look in the back, and the tubes are on the verge of redplating. Any idea what the problem is? :( :cry...

I know the Tourmaster is supposed to be based on the TOL series. I know it is supposed to be of the same quality............ But, My Mica 100 sounds perfect, and I haven'tbeen totally satisfied demoing the tourmaster. :(
