Finished a cover of Thrice - Black Honey using my Wizard Hellrazor with edge of break up cleans and softer rock rhythm tones. Thought you all would like to hear it in a non metal context. I find it is one of the most impressive rock amps.

I created another video with the Hellrazor in case you wanted to hear BKP Polymaths on it. It's still my favorite amp I have ever played.

Hellrazor has more punch, rawness, more open, and can get clanky tightness. Uber Ultra has a modern eq filtered quality to it. I prefer the Hellrazor.

My personal opinion is James is the best guitar player of the 3. I love great rhythm playing and prefer Hetfields attack on the strings with his downpicking and his guitar tones. I have never liked Mustaine's tone ever.

My best guess is the red Hellrazor :)

Just made a shoot out of these great amps. Both going through Fryette Power Load IR with the same Zilla IR (V30/G12-H75 speaker combo).

For 80s thrash I would probably consider a Used Mesa Mark IV. Death Metal an ENGL Savage is a staple. Then there is super rare amps for Death Metal like a Megalith Beta or Gamma but those will be tough to find. If you want the Diezel route then I think a VH4 is better for your metal style then...

The guitar is a Mayones Regius with a Walnut Burl top and snake wood finger board. Yeah most nice wood tops can be a lot more than finished ones.

I was most disappointed by the Bogner Uber Ultra. I have loved almost every other Bogner I have played, but the Ultra just was too filtered for me.
