I dig mine… great for what it does, tho I can see it being polarizing.
You could always just get a load box tho if you want to run IRs with your current amps.
Got an '87 Jackson Soloist for $1K locally a few years back on FB Martketplace.
And maybe 7 or 8 years ago I got an '84 Spector NS2 bass for $1099 off GC Used... definitely worth way more than that.
Totally this - at least 3 of the 90's JCM900 cabs I've been inside have had speakers installed with screws that were barely finger tight. Tightening them up with a screw driver tightened the cabs bass response right up.
I'm a weird one, using primarily Clayton Triangle Acetal picks these days... either in 1mm or 1.26mm. I love the edge on them, and the shape just works for my rhythm playing. Bonus is I get 3 different points to wear down!
Still dig the crap out of mine.. think I got mine back at the end of October. I've been on a Recto kick lately, but the Snorkler is my favorite modded Marshall style amp I've owned, to the point where I might even sell my '96 101B. The Snorkler snarls, has just enough low end, and feels great...
I need to get a good quality round stand with boom arm for that reason... it's always a struggle trying to get the mic in the right spot while having the pedalboard where I want it.... without having the tripod fall off the edge of the stage.
