well i love the pickup.it sounds like his old sound.it may or may not be an exact copy of the pickup in his original guitar,but it does sound like his old classic sound.it has about the same output as a PAF but its fuller sounding than a PAF,fully bodied sounding.plays great through an old plexi...

i have a pickup that i love has a great beefy bottom to it but i play with 9s strings.my friend has the same pickup but complains that the bottom end is all mushy soundings.he plays with 11 strings.does the larger strings like that give you alot more bottom end? stan
