If there's any carpet or lint stuck to velcro on the pedals I'm about to sell (pubes? yuck! seriously?) I'll just use a lint roller or a stiff brush and the velcro looks good as new. Always take pictures of the back and if a buyer wants it without velcro they will have to remove it as it can...

If I'm converting a 50-watt bass spec (1986) to a 3-pre Jose style, then is it necessary to eliminate the jumper from pins 3 to 8 and run a separate .68uF/2.7k to V1b instead of simply changing the V1a cathode from 339uF/820ohm (250uF on my amp) to .68uF/2.7k and keeping the V1 cathodes shared...
