    Paul takes a Solo..

My understanding is that Paul plays the solo in "World Without Heroes" which is a nice atmospheric, almost David Gilmour thing.

    Sammy and his Dead Horse

I enjoy both the Dave and Sammy years with a HUGE preference towards the Dave years. I always viewed Hagar as a likeable guy that would be super fun to hang out or jam with. However, his comments to the press have gone from simply that, to angry vitriol of an artist in the twilight of his...

How many of you are Strat guys?

I LOVE this guitar! Those are big frets - Dunlop 6100s?

How many of you are Strat guys?

I absolutely love it. It is a wonderful sounding and playing guitar. I had no problem acclimating to the scalloped neck. One minor complaint (that others have noted as well) is the high E tends to slide off the side of the neck too easily, especially at the higher frets.

How many of you are Strat guys?

Yeah, I would say I am a Strat guy. Here are mine. I also have a Charvel Strat. Left to right: 1) 1972 Strat. Real one - not a reissue. My first ever electric guitar 2) 2001 Yngwie Malmsteen 3) 1987 Japanese 1972 Reissue 4) 2000 American Reissue 1957

New to Floyd, Need a pickup.

It's in a 1980s-something Charvel Strat that was converted to a Floyd and Hum/Sing/Sing configuration. The Black sounds great in there but honestly, the Duncan Custom Custom sounded just as good if not a little better. The Black (at least in that guitar) is brighter than the Duncan CC.

PRS Custom 22 - your experience?

I have a 2001 Custom 22. Wide fat neck, 5-way rotary, 10-top w/ Birds and Dragon II pickups. I have since replaced the 5 way with a toggle and McCarty wiring harness and also replaced the Dragon IIs with a Duncan JB in the bridge and '59 in the neck. Great sounding, playing and looking...

New to Floyd, Need a pickup.

I have just one Floyd equipped guitar and things can get a bit "plinky" sounding, so I have swapped pickups may times hoping to offset that. Based on the OPs ask and some of the early feedback, Duncan 78 sure sounds like it fits the bill. I would also suggest the Pariah Pasadena White for a...

Dave DiPietro - What a virtual unknown monster player!

Growing up in New Jersey and frequenting the rock club scene in the Tri-State area, two guitar players that are almost local heroes and to some degree, unsung heroes are Dave DiPietro and Ken Dubman (Prophet.)

    Michael Romeo

Monster player that for some reason flies under the radar with everyone except those of us, "In the know."

    Trump selling signature guitars.

"These are big, beautiful guitars, that much I can tell you. In fact, my good friend and your friend George Lynch from the great band of Dokken says these are the best he has ever seen, believe me. BIG LEAGUE wonderful guitars." :-)
