Seems to me Dunlop sells the parts so you can convert any of the wah pedals into auto return switching ?

The Hot Mod / Scary is not compatible with most amps. I don't know if it can cause damage. But have been told it simply does not work.

The 95q is a very nice wah. It the one I would get if looking for switchless. Only switchless I have is a Crybaby Bass Wah 105q. It's pretty unique voice. Pretty different from the other Dunlop.

The Dunlop pedals are going to get you closer to the JC wah.

Exactly But for whatever reason I keep trying different pedals with different amps. If I turn up the amp to get a similar sound with just the amp. The amp alone always feels and sounds better.

I'm usually no pedals. But on a overdrive, boost, distortion pedal thing again.

I believe the OCD is a underrated boost for high gain. Some complain it's not as tight as a TS but plenty of amps don't need that much low cut - Marshall derivatives especially. The OCD's lack of mid-hump and switchable high shelf make it really useful in lots of situations where a TS sounds...

Yes It is easy to do that. If you have the wrong amp or other gear. ACDC, Scorpions, Judas Priest, Who, Tool, etc are all bands that used power amp overdrive extensively. Power amp overdrive is a lot more dynamic than preamp distortion. But it requires the right technique and gear.

I would say yes. You don't need a computer. But most of what it does is based around having a computer. Too be honest I very rarely use anything digital with guitar.

If you put a KT88, 6550 or KT66 in the Univalve it reacts more like a big amp. Still not the same. But know exactly what you mean about bass and bigger amps. The Univalve is more about a small amp cranked sounds. There is no master volume. Poweramp overdrive. Class A so all the odd and even...
