I agree with @fek to get a Powerstation or equal so you can crank that Master Volume and get a loop. That’s really the only way to get the most out of the MV Marshalls imo. Even tho they have Master Volumes you still need to crank them to brutally loud volumes to really get most out of them.
If I did it would be The 'Stache*.
My favorite amps are a Tweed Bassman for clean up to edge of breakup and a Marshall Superlead from there. Throw in a Vox AC30 every now and then. And that's all been done to death. I wouldn't ruin a perfectly good hobby by making it a profession.

Here's a Brown Deluxe I built about 5 years ago. Side note; that black Strat is the same Strat (now Surf Green) that I'm doing the recessed Floyd conversion on.
I almost always buy MM. Only hurts once and I'm a hobbyist. I'm on the lifetime-purchases 10% discount plan, I guess they add up. At some point it maxes out at 15% off.
They've always had excellent support too ime.
Simple, tasty and always satisfying. Tweed Deluxe build. Staying pretty true to the original but taking a few liberties to tighten it up without trying to make it into something else.
Mercury Magnetics transformers. Mostly Mojotone parts but Chinese Stainless Steel chassis because Mojotone was...
Hmmmm...who could the fifth be? It's like it's right on the tip of my tongue but I just cant think of who it could be. He would have to be an ace player to hang with those four.
I haven't but I've heard he's good. I actually started on my Dad's gut-string and learned Bouree before I learned Sweet Home Alabama. But I'm a lefty that plays righty and my right hand sucks.
Picking nits here but the bias supply is just AC voltage (which swings positive and negative). It's the orientation of the diode and bias filter caps that makes it a negative voltage.
Those top classical players right hands are sick! I can fingerstyle and even Travis-pick a little but some of these classical players are on robot-perfection level.
And remember some of our favorite players 'technically' didn't know this stuff. Yet in some ways they did. Everybody has a different method.
I've thought for a while now that those jazz cats...they know too much. They've gone over the cliff and have so much knowledge that their music is...
Billy Gibbons
Jimi Hendrix
Robin Trower
Edward Van Halen
Eric Johnson
Dang, with those influences I should be better.🤣
EDIT: and a shout for Django Reinhardt. His musical style doesn't make it's way into mine but the way he slides around definitely changed the way I play.
Yep, totally can see that.
When people ask about building partscasters I always say build it only if you want to build it. Don’t build it to have it…go buy it if you just want to own it.
That said, I build and mod/rebuild stuff because I like doing this kind of stuff. I would probably just buy...
