Best "feeling" electric guitar you've ever played?

Was a Music Man guy for many years, owned several of all their models but these days I'd have to say Luxxtone is the best for what I need.

Did a video tour of my Luxxtones

Yeah, ive seen the horsepower finish a couple times, should have pulled the trigger on it, I like all the Joe morris stuff, had a 100 dollar bill guitar of his as my first el machete, great guitar but you had to take the neck off to adjust it, no bueno for me, great guitar otherwise.

Did a video tour of my Luxxtones

Great collection, that Joe Morris Choppa t is badass, I almost bought that one or one very similar to it on reverb not too long ago. Jerry makes great guitars, I've owned 7 total and still have 3. I'd agree they are the best feeling guitar out there for my needs.

Is there a guitar teacher handbook?

I was a guitar teacher for about 20 years and when I first started I didn't know where to begin with people so i put a small set of guidelines to follow for myself, most of my students were beginners and I preferred that, but every student just like every teacher is different. Not every person...

    Tele appreciation!

Something about the tele shape I just love these days, don't have the middle one here anymore but these are all killer guitars.

Who Can Do A Relic Job On New Guitar?

Not sure if he refinishes guitars other than his own, but try Jerry at Luxxtone, he's in that area and can do almost anything. Worth a shot.

Which 80s finger slinger wrote the most unique solos?

Unless I missed it I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Nuno yet, dude had some great stuff on the early extreme albums.

What's with Covers and Chasing After Other Musician's Tones?

I started leaning to play when I was 12 and all I ever cared about was learning other peoples songs cuz it was just a hobby of mine, luckily I live in Delaware where the only bands that mean shit are cover bands so I guess it kinda worked out, I've played a lot of big clubs over the years and...

Has anyone heard of the band Evergrey from Sweden?

Been one of my favorite bands for years, got a chance to see them in a small club in Baltimore back in 2019 I believe and they were amazing live, shame there weren't more people there to support, probably less then 100 people there would be my guess. Got to meet them all after the show, very...

anyone do the full time “club circuit”?

Yeah the place we played in the keys was just called the tiki bar in holiday isle, they had a band house that looked like a world war 2 bomb shelter with an undisclosed amount of diseases running around, I saw it and found a hotel for the week which made the whole thing more tolerable. Fun times.

anyone do the full time “club circuit”?

Played in the Delaware cover scene for a while in one of the more known cover bands, played 4-6 nights a week in my 20's all over the tri-state area and as far south as the keys. Used to make anywhere from 150-300 a night depending on the club and how far we had to travel. Lots of miles and...

Guys who play out (or used to)…question

I'd bring two for cover shows, would learn how to play everything in one tuning so there wasn't constant breaks between songs switching guitars around.

What solo are you working on?

After 20 plus years of doing the cover band shit I'm not learning anything for a while, I'll play my own boring riffs for the time being. The angry again solo would be cool to check out though.

How do I restring these vintage tuners with the holes in the shaft?

I have two luxxtones with these tuners, I always measure two tuners past the one I'm stringing, seems to work quite well, for the last two strings I just guesstimate.
