Need advice. THis winter has wrecked havoc on my guitars. Hygrometer read 20% humidity.. getting sharped frets and warped pickguards. do you have any advice for how to properly humidify my electric guitars? thank you
WhAt do u guys do for month to month guitar maintanence/care for your guitars? All i do is change strings ever 2 months , keep them in cases and wash my hands before playing and wipe my guitar down with a microfiber cloth after playing thats it...do you need to use oil, lotion, lipstock...
I dont know about you but back in the day. i had a rockman and a fostex 4 track and a cheap crate amp. The sound and recording werent good. Setting everything up to record was also a pain. These new amp sims are amazing and sounds better and cheaper than any practice amp for home use. Very...
If you like floyd but wished it didnt have a locking nut, so you can do drop d than the blocked baby floyd is great. Excellent tuning stability and still has the feel and look of a floyd. i never understood why a locking nut is needed when they have locking tuners.
Its a look/feel thing.. A guitar w/o a floyd just looks off to me. I actually had a pro guitar tech install big brass blocks/5 springs/ ESP arming adjusters on all my guitars that had floyds w/locking nut/fine tuners. All my floyds are essentially like a fixed bridge.. doesn't move.
I am no stranger to floyd rose with locking nut and fine tuners (have 3x of em).. had them and enjoyed them but over the years i find myself not using the bar that much but still prefer the look, sound and feel of floyd bridges. The baby floyd is perfect. I can tune down to drop d if i need to...
I block the floyd and it allows me to do drop tuning freely with out the need to mess with locking nut. My other guitars do have the locking nut and fine tuners and i can vouch that the baby floyd tuning stability is just as good. Its perfect for me.
