Put a passive volume box in the loop, cut the volume a bit for everything but solos, switch it off for the full volume to act like a boost.
Something like the EHX Signal Pad.
A multi effect is the best way to try hundreds of pedals for a fraction of the cost. What amp do you have and how do you plan to set up the effects?
I like Digitech, I have an RP1000, RP360XP and some iStomps. Unfortunately Digitech is basically dead. The most up to date are the RP360XP and...

I have something similar, it's okay. Usually I spend more time getting it set right than actually using it. Now I use a drill press vise most of the time.
Most have buffers but not the exact same values.

The 6100 has some really great features, but also it's Achilles heel.
The clean channel is superb and the best part of the amp for me.
Low gain and medium gain were nice. The gain got mushy quick. I used channel 2, mode C with an SD-1 to tighten it up.
I am not a fan of channel 3. It has a...
PRS MT15 Does exactly what I tried to make my Triple Rectifier do. The clean channel is one of the best I've played.
Ibanez RGDIM6FM Traded for it, didn't know what to expect, never had a multi scale or Fishmans. It's awesome.
Schecter Demon 7 My first 7 string, I put Fishmans in it. Now I get...
I used to play a lot of Korn 20 years ago, with a 6. You really need the extra string for bands that use 7s.
I always wanted a 7 but it took until this year to actually get one... two actually. I like being able to play the 7 as a regular 6 if need be. It doesn't take much to get used to.
I...
Nice comparison.
I like the Stealth here most, then Invective, then 5150. It's really just splitting hairs they are all good.
Which of the 3 is tightest with no pedals?
Which has the least fizz at lower volumes?
The cleans are fantastic.
The "master" is sensitive. It gets loud very quickly. I attenuate the volume with a multi fx in the loop.
It doesn't sound like a Mark, it sounds like a Rectifier. I find it very mid heavy, at least for playing alone relatively quiet.
This times infinity. Right now there's a thread about receiving a pedal with a shipping label on the pedal's original box.
With that said, every forum has crap topics or members to sift through.
