I just got a 2008 vh4. Plugged it in and... I'm blown away. It's such a versatile beast. Totally different amp than the Einey. I'll have to say I prefer Einey's crunch a bit more, but channel 3 is what everyone says it is... high gain heaven. So inspiring to play through I've already written...

I been noticing my amp sounds very choked in tone lately. It sounds very mid-range muffled. Especially in ch1 mode 2 (my main channel). it also has a weird breakup before distortion... So I switched preamp tubes first... No better. Then on to my 2nd set of power tubes in 2 months... Still...
