Just killing time being a slow day at work and noticed this Bogner 101B auction.

Says in the description the serial number tag has come off but being written on it looks like it was rubbed out.
Wonder if it's hot...
Just wanted to give a shout out to Kevin (espquade). As some of you know from a previous post FedEx damaged an amp I bought from him and he went to bat with FedEx relentlessly and got a refund despite the bureaucracy runaround. Excellent communication, fun to talk shop with, just pleasant to...

Think I'm getting the hang of WOS III now somewhat...
So I cranked the Triple Rectifier Reborn to 11:00 on the master to get the power section into the tone, and ran the Loadbox output into the computer and applied the WOS III plugin.
I used the Rectifier 4x12 cabinet in WOS...
Another test with the Torpedo Reload, my first clip as pretty aweful so I took a step back and just used the device as an attenuator this time. This one might be as bad I'm new to these types of devices.
For this clip I plugged straight into the 2204 with the master on 5. At 5 the...
Ugh...thanks for the heads up Reza I didn't have this hooked up correctly and was getting bad clipping.
Back to the drawing board, new to these types of units....
Hi guys,
Had the house to myself this afternoon was able to turn it up some. Thought it might be a good opportunity to test out the Herbert's channel 2 'minus' setting and get away a bit from the preamp gain and open it up. :)
The signal is straight from the Zoom Q2, pardon the playing...
I love my high gain channel switchers, but a good JCM 800 with a boost is one of my personal "foundation" tones. :)
Fired up the 2204 today, of course boosted. Today used a Fulltone OCD and a Boss EQ, explosive sounding lol...

Attempt of course.
Nu Lynch I should say, "When You Bleed" riff. Don't have any 7 strings anymore so the strings were floppy and honestly I don't even know if I have the tuning correct.
But it was fun to flog, don't look for perfection here in performance or sound, no pedals no...
Did up a short tone test clip today using a Boss SD-1 as a boost up front. (I know, I like boosts   )
Channel 2 Orange Vintage was used, at the 150 watt power setting with diode rectifier selected.
Used an old Dokken riff as the sample material.

I tried my hand at an old Lion song, it's a slower song with cleans.
I used an A/B box and switched between my Peavey and Twin Reverb, and had both amps on at the same time on some small parts.
The solo at the end was an attempt and nowhere near exact or perfect...lol...
Just imo, for my specific application/scenario.
I can't go higher than 6 on the preamp gain before it starts to lose definition.
I have to put in a disclaimer that this is at lower basement jam volumes, not band volume.
Once the power section is opened up the preamp gain...
** EDIT **
Added second video with Maxon OD-9 in place of the Bad Monkey. After comparing the OCD (to me) has more treble cut with the tone knob at noon than the standard fare overdrive pedals I've been using imo. For both videos the OCD was set to the "HP" mode. Rolling the tone lower...
I was playing my ESP Esclipse recently with EMG's on the bridge position 81 and suddenly the noise floor jumped up with a huge amount of hiss/white noise even with the volume rolled down to 0.
I initially thought it was the battery, but when I changed the battery nothing changed. The neck...
