Hey guys,
Made a quick clip of my JMP with the Metro (line level version) effects loop installed, used a Boss RV-3 in the loop to drench the tone for the test.
Had a few drinks and playing is pretty loose though...lol.

Got my JMP back with a metro loop, very impressed! Two of the speaker jacks were able to be used to minimize drilling.
I got the line level version of the loop, my delay pedals sound fantastic. I can't hear a difference engaging the loop so glad I did this.
I never understood the 80's tones that used chorus on distortion rhythms, I only liked chorus on clean tones (if at all) so I tried to mess around with it today through a Triple Rectifier.
Signal chain was very simple, guitar into a Maxon OD-9 (boost) and a 1st generation Boss...
I read about that. :)
Sounds like he's got some bank investors behind him from the article I read as well.
This service is tied directly to your account, so there's no cover from a card if it "bounces".
The CFO of my company said if all the tenants paid rent via this way with the .25...
Every once in awhile I like to put my classic rock hat on with stock 800 gain to keep me honest.
This is an '83 2204, no gain mods but does have an effects loop added and fresh cap job. :)

So reading SteveK's thread about having to play through a house supplied JCM 900 backline compelled me to plug into mine today.
I got it pretty cheap ($500) and mainly bought it to have as a backup.
I could definitely work with it combined with a few of my pedals if it...
With all the JMP talk on the forum, made a quick clip of my completely stock '79 JMP 2203 with 6550's.
As stated amp is stock, boosted with a Boss SD-1 and EQ pedal through the front end (of course, no loop).
Just a disclaimer the volume for this clip was "tv volume" under 1 at...
So having not plugged into this thing in ages, I tried out Gile's Recto settings using a Maxon OD-9 boosting the Orange channel.
Close to robo-gain.

So I wanted Trace to re-cap my old JMP and undo some questionable work I spotted on the PCB when I acquired it, and decided to try his Jose mod while he had the amp.
I was initially worried the amp might lose it's character, but after I got it back it had the same base tone with...
Last year I bought one on the cheap, now I see even more of them at similar lower prices which put them cheaper than your typical new Mesa.
I haven't plugged into it in awhile as it's not my main amp, even had it up for sale last month.
My earlier Uberschall revisions always recorded really...
So recently I took a chance on the much dreaded JCM 900 series and picked up an early model that was produced from 1990 to 1992, the mkiii. This is a single channel amp and not like the Dual Reverb's that came after.
These amps shipped with EL34's as well.
Got it for $500 and think it's...
I remember when the TJ first came out there was lots of interest and quite a few early adopters, followed by a massive sell off seeing many for sale on the various forums.
After this initial shake out phase, there was left a core group of happy owners.
Now there is a 2nd surge in...
I knew I liked the 34's when I first heard them at Zack's house, but have been procrastinating to do mine and finally did it today. I wish I had done it sooner, for my tastes I prefer the 34's but if I was playing loud in a band and heavily drop tuned I might have stuck with the 88's...
Apparently it has auto biasing firmware in it, can toss any tube type in with no adjustment needed.
You can see the auto biasing led's in the back chassis shot, sort of looks "Engl-ish".
