I remember seeing him playing with a chrome chassis blackface. Only remember that because he turned around to adjust some dials while jamming. Other than that I only remember seeing it a few times in some early pics.- tonesfoyobones

Yeah I believe he used a non master Marshall and his Dual in the begging off and on. I've seen footage with just his old Marshall and I've seen some with just his Dual and then with his 2 amp blend. Remembered an article of him saying about liking his Dual more but band dug the Marshall VH4...- tonesfoyobones

Agreed but the straight dual was just nasty and wicked! Its tone complimented Maynard's early antics and lyrics to a T.- tonesfoyobones

That would make sense. His favorite amp is his early 2 channel dual, which are my favorite Jones tones. He wanted to use it primarily but the band out voted and the rest is VH4 history.- tonesfoyobones

Framus Wolf Hoffmann Custom shop V sold
Killer piece! I've had a chance to play this one and it is a beautiful piece of German Custom Shop craftsmanship. Crazy good detail. 2023 ENGL Savage 120 MK2 amplifier. It was purchased new in September 2023 from Sweetwater and is in mint condition. Ripping good amp but I'd like to change things up.
