I've had the JVM410H a couple of times. Sounded good, but not great. There are a couple of basic mods though that I think could get me there, if I ever wanted to give it another try. I was happier with the Satriani edition.
Hughes & Kettner Triamp 3. I've had that one twice, and I really...
Some people are chomping at the bit to financially support a guy who ripped off their fellow musicians. They don't have a problem with scammers, as long as it's someone else on the losing end.

Seriously though, I'd love a 50s LP or a V, but I'm not sure I'd pay crazy money for one. I still might get a vintage guitar or then, just not the holy grails. I'd just find a top notch builder for modern recreations of the burst and '58 V.
For amps, I'd track down a best of...
Same. Randy was probably my biggest influence when I started playing. I listened to everything I could, read everything I could. I've never seen anything suggesting his D+ was modified, let alone an account by anyone of authority. It's not that there isn't detailed info about his gear by people...
Live after Death was the first album of theirs I bought, and 75% of that was probably due to the artwork. Probably 1986 or so. Then I worked backwards from there. Powerslave is great, but probably not even in my top 3 of the Bruca-era albums.
My favorite album of theirs is probably Killers as...
This 100%. Randy's tunes were some of the first I learned on guitar, and what helped me fall in love with playing. And wanting to be like him is why my degree's in music. Not a fan of his tone though. Even the better samples of his live tone, just aren't my taste. I'll still boost my mids all...
I love listening to Matteo play, but I don't think he's got the unique vocabulary/style of an EVH or a Holdsworth, or at least not yet. He seems pretty squarely in the jazz/fusion camp, sprinkled with blues, and the occasional nod to Holdsworth. He's a very expressive, soulful player though...
Dude actually did a respectable job singing. Guest vocalist, cover tune, reading the lyrics, and Les missing the transition to the solo, makes me think this might not have been something that was rehearsed much. Otherwise, total hack move to be reading lyrics on stage. At least he seemed to be...
Having Feldman for your opener is kinda like co-hosting a cooking show with Gary Busey. You know to expect ridiculousness, but you're not really sure if it's an act.
I never really thought of Satriani as a shredder, at least in a post-Malmsteen sense. Sometimes the Vai-esque acrobatics (and emoting) gets a little old. He definitely has some chops though and has a distinctive voice and style, and he's managed to make a living doing it.
It doesn't really...
They can avoid charging sales tax if their total annual sales in a given state is below a certain threshold, and each state decides what that threshold is. Some states just go by total sales, and others factor in the number of transactions.
It wouldn't surprise me if they don't get picked up by another company. I think they're more prominent in other parts of the world. It's hard to guess thought whether a prospective buyer would keep the company going, or if they'd just want the name, IP, and a few other assets like that.
+1 for getting an NFB control. I asked for that and a 3-way bright switch when they built my 2203. Sometimes you might want more or less of one or the other, depending on where you set the gain and the MV. Tons of flexibility.
Their JCM 51/101 seems along the lines of the Friedman JEL in terms...
It's what I use in my main rig, and it's worked great. I run my entire rig (100w tube head, 8u rack, and pedal board) from it. I've had it since 2017 or so.
