I tested this out last night for David to make sure, before he posted to the site. It worked in both my 3 channel triple and multi watt dual, which David had previously thought it did not, so he updated the site.
hahahah sssooorrryyyy. Yeah it was a Pittbull 100 CL w/ the EQ. Even for the time it was a steal. Considering prices right now, it was damn near a robbery.
I used to love this store. They always had better gear than the GC that was close, had actual knowledgeable people and there were good deals to be scored.
the last couple years though, woof. Any time they had halfway decent gear, it was priced sky-fucking-high. They will negotiate, but still -...
If I'm paying for it myself, Hotone Ampero/Ampero Mini.
All the features I need, tones are awesome, interface is super easy and the price is stupidly good.
It's wild what some of these companies are able to do at the lower pricepoints these days.
If I'm not paying, Quad Cortex easily, but only...
Hey fellas,
Figured I'd drop by and put my Uber Ultra playthrough here.
I've seen a lot of discussion around this amp, as well as a lot of people either being disappointed or confused by the controls, and how to dial in a good tone.
I will admit, it's very easy to get bad sounds out of this amp...
Ah, yes. Another classic episode of "Forum nerd that never accomplished anything shits on legendary guitarist" What would this forum be without one of these posts every week?
it depends on the product and also how good of a customer you are with them - I. e. how often do you order, and what dollar amounts, and they factor in your return rate as well. basically the better you are to them, the more the favor is returned. if you're truly great, they'll even toss you a...
this is the year of the downsize for me, going to work on getting rid of a lot of clutter and things that I don't need or won't serve me for the channel.
that said, a wizard mcii is something I might consider with the right price and aesthetic popped up
So I've been kicking this idea around for about a year. I'd REALLY love to make it some sort of reality.
I have a collection of over 100 amps at this point. Some coveted, most are somewhat run of the mill - but people are constantly asking me what Ap A sounds like, how does it compare to B...
Absolute monster of an amp. I had mine up for sale, plugged back into it recently, and immediately took it down. 3k amps are hard for me to stomach, but this one is worth it.
GLWS
I'm not sure how close they ACTUALLY are, but I will say the Ceriatone Molecular is one of my very favorite modded Marshall style amps, and I've owned a good number of them.
Had the absolutely pleasure to do a playthrough video on the Sloane Antares single channel, SLO inspired amplifier. I know many here love the SLO, but I also know many share a similar opinion to mine, in that it can be hard to tighten the low end and low mid frequencies when trying to get a...
This forum would cease to exist if there wasn't a new thread full of boomers complaining about youtubers, in some way, shape, or form, on a weekly basis. Glad to see things never change around here!
As much as I love Parametric EQ pedals for the flexibility and ability to fine tune things, it's so easy to get lost in the weeds with them. I tend to stay away from EQs in the loop in a lot of situations because I find I don't typically need them for most of my amps, but when I do have an amp...
Honestly, I'm always scouring the sale pages in the Mark 5 is not an amp that comes up all that often, anywhere. If you would have said rectifier and 5150, that definitely would have been more along the lines of what I'm used to seeing
