I had the 25, and it was awesome at home and recording, but didn't have enough power to hold up with a metal drummer. Kinda sucked because other small amps were able to hold up fine. But yeah, I agree, expensive practice amp lol. I think if you don't play out, these are perfect.

Owned a V25, V90, and a VII (and a couple of IVs, and a JP2C). Of the 2 you mention, the VII is by far the better amp. But the small Vs are pretty good, but for me didn't hold up in a band context. I did not like the V90 at all.

I love my 100S. It's my favorite all time amp to date. I've had the 50 watt Stealth and have a standard 50 watt 6l6 just because it's easier to move around, but it's not even close. The 100S sounds as big as it is, physically lol. Perfect metal amp, IMO.

Both are great amps, but I 100% prefer the Stealth. More gain and aggression. Deciding whether or not it's worth the extra money is so subjective, but for me it absolutely was. The Iconic is a good amp, but it does not compete to the 100 watt EVH heads, IMO.

Eric Bauer at Good Stuff music. I have 3 guitars built by him, he showed me how to do fret levels, that I now do on every guitar, and taught me most of what I know about guitar set up and electronics. He's also EndTime on the forums.

Yeah pretty good. Mine was $3850 or something after taxes and sold it about 9 months later for $2800. Big hit. Great amp, though, and was worth it to own one for a while. Mine was serial #00050.

Kraken preamp is pretty good. I also like the empress heavy. I’d it doesn’t have to be a pedal, the Engl e530 is still a great choice. If you like 5150 tones, the kartakou colossus is awesome.
