Checked out prices for the 60's ones, holy cow they are freaken expensive! The others are just as expensive :( Is it that much of a upgrade from a Classic LP? I played a bunch of them the other day and found the ones with the 60's neck to be really comfortable.

Other than replacing it, is there anything I can do to fix a loose tube socket. The rectifier tube socket on one of my amps is causing my amp to cut out once in awhile when its loose. :( If I do take it to a tech, what can I expect to pay to replace the tube socket?

Was wondering how loud do most of these get? Does it get that power tube distortion at lower volumes or is it still too loud for home playing? Amps like the Suhr 18 watt Badger, Budda SD 18 or Reinhardt 18.

I have a peice of crap $4 one from Radio Shack and I always tend to fuck things up when soldering when using it :lol: :LOL: Going to swap out some pick ups later tonight and was thinking a good soldering iron would be helpful. Any suggestions if price isn't really a issue?

I find my EG5 has way more hum than any other module.. On Ch. B, Gain about 1 o clock , Ch. Volume at about 1 O clock too.. Any way to get rid of this, tube swap perhaps?

NM! I am going to spend some more time with the module, I have gotten some nice tones dialed in last night, but I am waiting for the weekend to play it a little louder than I am able to during the day.. don't want to regret getting rid of a module that I may end up wanting later.

I've been searching for one for quite some time now and I keep seeing the same ones pop up on eBay for ridiculous prices. They have a BIN on it for $1500 and $1700 which is insane. I thought these should be going for about $800-$1000 max :confused:
