Foam pieces that come with celestion speakers??

If you're lucky the extra included rear-gaskets (for front-loading) are not needed, because hopefully you have the much more desired and better sounding rear-loaded cab.

Death Scresm Bloody Gore : the first ?!

IMO Venom is the root-band for thrash, death, and black metal. I like SBG for the first complete death metal album.

    Mesa Rectoverb 6L6 vs EL34

In direct comparisons I usually pick 34s, but in the room with me playing I always chose 6L6 because of the wider spread and stronger lows.

    Probably buying a Mesa Badlander 50 head......should I???

Series2 singles and rectoverbs can still be had for good prices. For recording and/or home use they are perfect, and so easy to access all the tube slots for comparing/rolling.

Bark at Moon Vs Ultimate Sin

Bark definitely has some fillers, so I'm going with TUS. I sure love a few off of Bark though,,,, especially Now You See It.

    Rocky George appreciation

HWILTWICEST is still one of my favorite thrash albums of all time. Surf And Slam solos give me goosebumps!

One thing Ive noticed about Seymour Duncan>Dimarzios.......

I've been quite happy with models from both brands, at least once they've found the right host. Many times I've picked wrong and then eventually found the right host. That has mostly been with pickup models for which it was my first time trying it.

    Mesa Rectoverb 6L6 vs EL34

No, even the series2 were stock parallel loops. I've always read that on the dual/triple you shouldn't run the bold and diode settings with EL34 tubes, but on the series2 single they have the EL34 option and all you can run is bold/diode settings, obviously because that is all you have on the...

    NPD!

Another thing this really excels at is boosting gain pedals of any kind, or solid-state amps. I used to use a mxr 6-band with pushed mids for this, but these do it so much better, and with less noise overall per the amount of added gain.

    Mesa Rectoverb 6L6 vs EL34

I've had my series2 single since 09. One of my favorite things about it is that you can get to all the preamp tubes without removing any power tubes and/or rectifier tubes (like you would on the dual/triples. That makes it very easy to audition various preamp tubes at different positions. I had...

    Your string journey

EB for me. I have one guitar that likes boomers better. It's a very scooped guitar, heavy in the lows and zingy in the highs, so the boomers round-cores seem to add more midrange content vs any of the standard hex-core models. 25.5" turbo slinky 9.5-46 for Eb ultra slinky 10-48 for D-standard...

    NPD!

Oh and obviously a big thanks! to Wayne for this. I've been wanting another one of these forever so I can Velcro one on my board, but the focus rarely come up anymore and I'm sure they'd want $300 or more for one these days. IMO there's nothing better as a boost for actives and very-high-output...

Griffin Analog's new "scythe" boost is everyone's chance to get a vfe focus clone that has a couple slight improvements. a. The scythe has a slightly wider frequency spectrum than the focus when both pedals are set at absolute minimum filtering, in other words with the toggles set to shallow...

What’s everybody’s favorite death metal band?

Anyone else dig earlier Behemoth? After The Apostacy album I lost interest because it all started sounding the same to me.
