    BKP Aftermath vs Rebel Yell

Between AM and RY,,,,,, I'd go C-pig.

About to turn this thing in for the first time. Reissue Recto

I like both orange and red moderns on all the various era rectifiers. For me it just depends on which guitar/pickups/boosts I'm using at the moment. On my MW Triple they can be tweaked to sound almost identical, although there is still a slight difference in tone and feel. Unfortunately for me I...

throaty tone with fast clear attack

Deliverance sounds very throaty, growly, barking IMO, but still clear and very fast transients. As for speakers I'd say classic-lead 80s are like that.

throaty tone with fast clear attack

Is "throaty" a lower frequency than "snarl"? I have always thought they were almost the same thing.

    Front mount speaker cab guys.....

Well then they must no longer include them. The last factory-boxed Celestions I bought were V30s in 2007 and more in the early 2010s. All of those included them. They were thinner foam and came in quarters/fourths. You'd just peel them off the paper and stick them from one screw hole to the next...

    Front mount speaker cab guys.....

That is a great idea to just cut the gaskets out of thin foam. As many people on here who have purchased brand new Celestions in the past I would think someone would have some spare front-mount gaskets just sitting idle in the box stuffed away deep in their gear closet. They were always in...

    Front mount speaker cab guys.....

The front-mount speaker gaskets always came in the box with new Celestions, and relatively few ever end up using them. They were much thinner than the gaskets already attached for standard rear-mounts. Surely Celestion would send you some for a fee,,,,,I'd hope anyways.

    AMONG THE LIVING anyone?

Always liked the tones and chunky mutes, but never could get much into their music. I liked some of their stuff OK, not a hater by any means. State Of Euphoria was probably my favorite album as a whole.

    Let's Talk About Slayer

Yeah that Titans tour era live Slayer was the best. I caught it in Tinley Park that summer and they were just miles ahead of the other bands IMO.

    Let's Talk About Slayer

That was when I came into them also, so it's not surprising that it's my overall favorite, although I can roll happily with anything up to and including Divine. Tone/mix-wise I would also have to pick SOH as my favorite. It's so dark and full sounding and it's always easy for me to make it...

    Let's Talk About Slayer

80's through early 90s they are the best metal band ever IMO. Every album was great in it's own way. ALL HAIL SLAYER!!!

Pickup for LP with big bottom

"Anyone have ideas for a bridge pickup with big bottom end? Not interested in it being tight- would actually prefer some sag. Guitar is already bright and tight so looking to add some cushy beef to it. High gain Hard rock type tones into Marshalls. Medium to higher output preferred but I like...

Who wants their own signature OD ?? Free pedal giveaway !!

Blasting Cap overdriver based on a VFE Focus/Standout but instead of a mix control have a mid-boost like an MXR custom badass. So it would have a super strong level, the hpf and lpf, and then the mid-boost on a button or toggle. Since it would have no clipping, it would be an overdriver, not...
