I'll continue to love the Gibson guitars I've had and still have in my possession. I'm an equal opportunity player. In addition to (4) Gibson's, I have (2) ESP LTD, (2) Epiphone, and (3) Schecter guitars. If a guitar plays, looks, and sounds good, why not? It's not as though we're getting...
1978 Gibson RD Custom with Dunable Grizzly pickups. Original case too. Took all the Moog crap out, but saved the electronics & the Dirty Finger pickups.
I have a Rev F blackface/chrome chassis with EL34's in it and I think it sounds great. I've always gravitated towards EL34 tubes though. True or not, I feel like they create more bite than 6L6's. They work well in a Dual Rec. YMMV.
The album hits the spot, indeed. Especially after ingesting 72 Seasonings. burp
Kiko Freaking Loureiro is the man. \,,/ Makes Kirt look like a beginner.
I hope MM kicks their collective ass in court. He's the one and only reason why I ever gave Motley Crue the time of day. The rest of the band is a joke.
Someone above mentioned complaining about Metallica in relation to Motley. I've been known to be one of those people from time to time. I...
Most definitely. I'm doing the same. I like having my balls rattled as well. My comment was mainly on what I perceive to be the new reality since many bands have moved into the IEM realm.
Exactly dude. I'm on the same page. I was just bitching because I personally loath IEM's. I don't share often, but this topic moved me to do so. :D
Not that it matters, but I'll add some context. I'm running Kemper Stage > KSR PA-50 > 412. I'll never do it any other way outside of ditching...
I hate almost everything about IEM's. My band recently ventured into this shit, and they suck. The only thing I like - having a click track in my ear.
Rock'n Roll was at one time supposed to be loud, obnoxious, and even painful to the ears. A full body experience. These days it feels like it's...
My 1st real tube amp was a GH100L. Liked it so much I bought a 2nd one. Those 2 amps served me well for quite a few years, until I became a bona-fide gear whore. ??
The highlight of this band for me is bassist, Olivier Pinard. As someone who's dabbled playing bass in a couple bands over the years, that dude blows my mind.
He's also in Cryptopsy. Sick play through below.
I'm about 2 years into my Kemper Stage experience. It's all I use at the moment.
Rig Manager is great, I'd be dead in the water without it. I'm digitally dumb, and it's a been a great tool to figure out the Kemper itself. Hope you dig it!
Totally get it bro. I had an experience with Chinese made 6534+. Preamp tube socket was junk. Took it in for repair, had it fixed, and it failed again. Most likely a deeper issue, but I gave up on it. Hopefully QC is on point with these new amps.
Most definitely trying to diversify ala Gibson.
