Wizard is the only one that comes to mind, that I’ve never played at all.
The Atlanta GC used to have some nice Diezels, Bogners, VHT’s etc. that I got to try briefly back in the day. I’d love a chance to revisit some of those.
Fralin tele pickups are fantastic.
I’ve got overwound blues specials in mine & they absolutely rock. I’d be curious to hear what that split pole sounds like.
I actually got a decent deal on that one. $1k shipped from the CME used section, it was absolutely mint, with the factory g&g case.
I never could get it set up quite right though, and didn't love the odd factory pickups. I installed some BKP mules a while back, and it was just super dark &...
Not counting stuff I bought 20 years ago (back when a 5150 could be had for $300 or an explorer for $500)

This is more relevant than many of us would like to admit.
I've played rock & roll dive bars in the southeast for 20+ years, almost exclusively. Occasionally we'll play a bigger venue or get to open for someone, but it's essentially the same environment on a larger scale. I always show up with...

I've heard that from a handful of people.
They do seem to play better with some amps than others; at home I have my Mark V 25 hooked to one, and my 50w Badlander on another in our band room. They fit both of those perfectly, but with my Splawn I didn't love them as much.
The premise of what he’s trying to do with that is cool. The price isn’t completely ridiculous if you consider the all inclusive lodging, the musicians he’s bringing out & the 100 guest limit.
I’m sure it’s not cheap to book those guys for a long weekend, and actually getting to hang & jam with...
