    Buffer into buffer..

Sonically I couldn’t tell any difference. I think with the Spliff on sale right now you get a lot more for an extra $39

    Buffer into buffer..

Currently I use the Spliff from Fortin because it has more outputs, 1 for pedals, 1 for the tuner and 1 iso direct into my AxeFx for when I went to record a raw DI track https://fortinamps.com/products/fortin-spliff But for a long time I used a simple splitter from JHS (they’ve gone up, used to...

    Buffer into buffer..

I use a buffer/splitter so output 1 goes into pedals (or your AxeFx) and output 2 goes to the tuner so it’s always on. Bonus, the output of the tuner can key my noise gate.

What about RT do you like ?

The gear talks, humor and respect that people argue and really go hard at each other in one thread while in total agreement in another. It’s the way it should be. This site can be an asshole, but it’s our asshole.

    Unmarked fretboards are king

I agree no markers look cool, love the look. But I can’t play them. My mind drifts sometimes when playing and I lose my spot without fret markers. Side markets don’t help me at all, never notice them at all, I’m just weird I guess.

New Iron Maiden Rig Rundown - Marshall JVM410H

Adrian writes killer melodic stuff, cool to see some of that gear. JVM is cool, I still love my JVM205 50 watter after 8 years.

What is more important to you, fretboard radius or scale length?

Scale length by far. Body shape/comfort is more important to me than radius. A super strat with 24.75” scale length is perfect. I do prefer flatter radius but it’s not a big deal to me.

    Gibson haters……..

Just joking…not a Gibson fan, but it’s cool. I can see why people like them, body shape just not for me.

I refuse to comply with Reverb now!

I dread selling and have accumulated way too much gear because of it. It’s been a few years since I’ve sold anything in Reverb or anywhere other than a couple of small items on here. I do use a local music store for consignment that works ok and is easier because they do the selling and the...

Anyone ever used this trick for body mounting pickups?

Never saw that before, but I like it. What’s the site or what is it called so I can try this?

    Megadeth or Metallica?

Megadeth when I want some cool riffage. Metallica for more melodies. I love the old Metallica of course but it’s so played out for me, I’ve listened to it too much.

Probably get my "gearhead" card pulled for this.

Just joking. I hear ya. I’m the same way. I see some cool things but nothing that makes me want. I had a few things I was keeping an eye out for and got one of them. I do want a Bogner Ultra Uber and I always check for a Caparison Horus Custom Line daily (for the last 9 months). But that’s it...

I'm a Ghost fan now, do I have to turn in my metal card?

Keep your metal card and you get a sticker!! I could care less about their looks or costumes, but I understand why it can be a put off. I think they have some cool music. I love digging into their song structure and melodies. They’re fun songs to play.
