    How Often do You Play?

I entered 5-10 per week. but it's not consistent, an average. Some weeks I won't play at all. Some weeks I may do 20 hours. Work takes a lot of time and I'll be thinking all day how I can't wait til this shit ends so I can play. I'll even be thinking about what I'm goin to play or practice or...

I have the beatbuddy pedal, metronome, apps, a looper, a basic SD3 drum loop…never use any of it. I just play and usually tap my foot.

How to improve low end in studio??

Room looks like there are too many reflection points. The advice above around measuring your room is a good first step. There are a few sites (Gik Acoustic example) where you can plug in your room measurements and it will help you with placement. I think just a few 4” panels placed around the...

How often do you discard picks?

The Winspear picks I use seem to never dull. I can’t say I have ever remember throwing any out in the 10 years or so I’ve used them. Edit: I have not used the se pick for 10 years, I’ll pick up a different one from time to time, but I have used the same main pick the last couple years.

Saw Disturbed tonight - return of the show

My wife discovered Disturbed’s remake of Sound of Silence and wanted to see them in concert tonight in Atlanta. So I was like hell yeah let’s do it. Big stage, fire, lights, lasers, sounded great. Lots of good grooves, crowd was into it singing. But they also just plain put on a good show...

Reverb bought by Fender parent company

It’s not being sold to Fender, so they’re not going to have too much say. I’m sure the investment firm will try to get Reverb and Fender and other companies in its portfolio to do business together though.

Reverb bought by Fender parent company

The article says they are looking at future enhancements such as dropping gear off locally without having to list or ship. I wonder if that means they take your gear, post it and ship it for you? That would mean they have brick and mortar in place in your city. I think that would be cool, kind...

Wow, this old PSA really hits home

I started black coffee years ago trying to lose weight, cutting sugar and cream. It was bad at first but once I got used to it, it’s all I like. I can’t stand coffee with sugar and/or cream any more. Stick with it and I think it’ll come around. Black coffee is healthy, good for the liver.
