I use 2 different cabs with my mini SLO.Super cheap? Hughes amd Keltner 1x12. They are 200 and under used.Comes with a celestion v30.. More expensive. I have an oversize mesa 1x12 with a creamback. Both are sealed back.
I traded my Stage II for a Mark 4 years ago and always missed it. Picked up another one a few months ago that looks brand new for 800 over on The gear page. They are great amps.
I posted this on the Boogie Board back in 2011 when I was playing with tubes in my Stiletto Stage II. They are killer amps but with a fixed bias, set very cold which is why they have a reputation of being shrill.
With Mesa STR 447 stock tubes the highest reading I got was 19.5 ma. Thats with...
Damn I used to have a Charvel Fusion with the same finish. Like an idiot I repainted it with Chromalusion back in the 90's. Would love to have that one back.
I've been dabbling in cheapo guitars lately. My latest -
Squier sonic strat, amazing what you get for $160. Plays great! I bought this to throw in the backseat of my truck. I installed a cheap 2 point tremolo just because I hate the standard Fender trem.

This. If you want to get fancy you can paint it,buy some aluminium c channel to go around the edge and add some cabinet handles. I made this this one for my FM3.
Yea I found higher price doesn't always equal a better amp. I bought a brand new Bogner 3534 thinking it was going to be my ultimate amp. Waited 6 months for it and returned it within a week. Owned most of the Friedman 20 watters, both 5153 50 watt, about a dozen Boogies,Also tried a SLO30...
I would try a Splawn. They are a bargain compared to the other usual suspects. They have the Marshall DNA with more juice and added options. It just sounds right to me. Or maybe a JVM. I bought a few JCM 800's recently and they just sounded wimpy to me. I ran a 2210 for 30 years and never felt...
I did fall for the Bump fee. Ebay does the same shit with promoted listings. I'm conviced if you don't pay extra for promoted listing or bumps they bury your listing and it doesn't get seen. F them all.
I'm done with them. Last guitar I sold for $950. My total payout was $713.50. $120 in fees plus $110 for their shipping label. I get they have fees but give me break already.
