I got a 95 studio off Craigslist for 500 7 or 8 years ago. Killer guitar should have kept it. I bought a studio with binding used last year and returned it quick.Sounded meh and looked odd actually.
I saw a mark I for 600 on FB. I have a Mark I and it is 100x more than I will ever need. All the sounds and effects are the same.Go with that unless you really need a Mark II then just buy a new one from Fractal and get the full warranty.
So another JEL20 in black popped up and this time I jumped on it. Man this amp is killer. It has that Marshall kerrang that the other Friedman 20 Watters I owned were missing. I guess it pays to check GCs used site every morning while on the throne.
So I returned the DSL100HR that I was bitching about last week. Just not for me.I was browsing marketplace looking for old Marshalls and Saw an ad with 1 picture and vague description. It said Marshall rack $1. Few pics and a couple messages later I Took a gamble and set out on the hour 3 hr...
If your advertising as original or untouched you should have photos to back it up. Hiw do they know? Did their tech tell them when he gave it a clean bill of health lol. I watch Marshall's on Ebay and Reverb and most prices are laughable.
Or Friedman? They have to be aware that one of the biggest names in modern amps is based off of their product and regarded by a lot of players as better than their current offerings.
I can't take any Marshall product seriously until they can actually make their current offerings available to buy in the US. Current stuff is on backorder for a year. I'm supposed to get excited over something brand new that might be available in 1-2 years?
Got this last week. Tried it out for 15 minutes with a new nmv amp. Decided to return the amp. As new in original packaging.
Interested in trading for / towards a Marshall or Friedman mini head or something similar. Will post pics but it looks like a brand new PS2A.
I follow them and noticed they have been pushing their guitars a lot lately. Good for them.I had dozens of amps and the Quick Rod is the only one ive kept. It just sounds right to me. Guys spending 3k and 4k on these boutique amps and reissues when you can pick up a used splawn for a bargain.
