This amp sounds like shit. Every review online raves about How great this amp is. There's even one guy on YouTube who says he likes it better than his Friedman's and Bogner's. On the Marshall forum they are going on about how this is the greatest modern Marshall even better than the JVM I...
Yea kinda makes you wonder if Randy was the dam holding back the flood on all this. As soon as he's out, look there's face plates, there's the transformers there's all the obsolete components we've been hearing about for years
Yep the one in my town closed. It was the best kept secret. I would put a hold on my gear deliveries and pick them up instead of waiting around for deliveries at random times that needed signatures. Also it was great to print my own label and hand to a real UPS employee.
My band of 8 years just wrapped up a few months ago, and honestly I'm not sad. Playing live was my least favorite thing. I'm the type that worries about every little thing so playing a live gig brought on a lot of anxiety. Not stage fright, just the thought of what's going to go wrong? Did we...
I was never a fan back in the day. I saw them 3 times in the last 7 or 8 years. They regularly play a small venue by me. The are a great live band. Reb Beach is a monster player and Kip still has a great voice. I will go see them any day over the "cool" band of the era like Motley Crue who are a...
Shit is nuts out there. I was just in Vegas for a week. $18 for a bottled water at my hotel. Went to the Scorpions show, 42 fucking dollars for 2 drinks! Went to Guy Fieris restaurant which is basically a burger joint, nothing fancy. 2 beers and nachos was $65. No wonder nobody is buying gear.
My wife bought me the green showroom series for my birthday.Total surprise. She was a Trixter fan and guess she heard about SBS on Hair Naition or something. High gloss, no relic job. HSS and the checkerboard hardshell case. It's a pretty dam nice guitar. No complaints at all on the build...
The Nitro is not nearly as popular as the Quick Rod so I'd say you'd take a big hit on it. Buy used. If you love it and want to upgrade to a new version at least you know you like it.
I looked at SBS but did end up with the Purple Pavo JS32. Killer guitar for $350! Pickups are good and tremolo stays in tune. Great low budget shredder.
