    Suhr SSH... Whose tried them?

Cool. Thanks. That's what I was looking for. I'm assuming they are all similar with different shades of heat! Thanks man. I ordered an SSH for my S58. Appreciate the input.

    New 2023 Bogner Uber Ultra

I can't find any details on this amp. Bogner has a garbage sure so I can't see how many channels, modes, can it to crunch? Lately I've been leaning toward using more classic crunch and vintage voiced amps and boosting, adding an OD to get the heavies. I find that works better than using an...

    Suhr SSH... Whose tried them?

What do you like more about the Aldrich? I feel the same. I love the Aldrich. Have it is a Les Paul and PRS SC. SSH+ is similar to me. I want to try the SSH however in one guitar. I think it's supposed to be darker and more PAF compared to the Aldrich.

    Opinions on the Suhr SSH+

Rather than start a new post, I grabbed this old thread! I have an Aldrich in one PRS Singlecut. Love it. I'm looking at something different for my LP. I want to try the SSH and SSH+. Anyone compared these two? I also have a PRS S58 that I'd like to try an SSH. Music is classic rock...

    Bogner Shiva KT88 vs 3534?

Old thread but curious why guys say the Shiva 20th with a boost? I have a 20th Ann Shiva and was thinking of getting the new 50 watt XTC 3435 head. Not worth it since I have a Shiva? I still haven't found the best boost to make my Shiva very aggressive and modern. I want to try the Dire Wolf...

    Revv amps?

I've had so many amps in my 30 years and my Revv Generator Mark III is my number one. I love playing it. We play everything from classic rock to alt rock and grunge to metal. Great tones and feel. I like really smooth, refined tones that feel great under the fingers. It works for me, but...

Source Audio Zio or Electric Eye Mud Killer?

I feel like I can get almost everything I need with what I have, but there are always more pedals to buy, lol. The Golden Pearl, Zio and Buxom all sound great in my rig. One weird thing with the Zio, and it may be a cable. I have to do some trouble shooting. Sometimes when I engage the Zio...

    Friedman Buxom and Golden Pearl

Yep, love them. They will not leave my board. The pedal I disliked the most was the Koko. Different strokes.

    Friedman Buxom and Golden Pearl

I think we are all different in what we like and what works. Lots of guys recommended it so I am glad I tried it. For me and my amps, it's the best OD I've had in 30 years. But I also love singlecuts and I have friends who can only play strats and doublecuts. Different strokes for different...

    Friedman Buxom and Golden Pearl

So, I have and really like the Friedman Buxom Boost. It's the best boost I've used, best tool I've found for shaping the tone of an amp, especially for crunchy rock tones. Works well for high gain too. Well, I bought the Friedman Golden Pearl. It's the best Boost/OD I've found for hitting the...

    Celestion Redback/Vintage 30 blend.

I ended up going back to Redbacks only in this 212. Like Bruce Egnatet has said, V30s are best in a 412.

    Celestion Redback/Vintage 30 blend.

They actually sound good with K100s too. I fine with just Redbacks too...no mix.

    Celestion Redback/Vintage 30 blend.

That's awesome the Reds fixed your one cab. I'm on thr fence with my Bogner 212 now. Need to see if I want to stick to Red/V30 or maybe two Reds. Also have a K100 I could drop in.

    Celestion Redback/Vintage 30 blend.

Oh yes... That's why I have two cabs with this setup. :) So you'll replace the T-75s with Redbacks in the Uber Cab?

    Celestion Redback/Vintage 30 blend.

Maybe I don't notice those artifacts but I like mixing. A lot of cab and amp builders mix often. Bogner, Mesa, Friedman, etc.

    Celestion Redback/Vintage 30 blend.

I wanted to mention that all Redbacks sound great too but more expensive, which is why I did Redbacks and Creamback M-65s in my Bogner 412 which sounds amazing.

    Celestion Redback/Vintage 30 blend.

I have that mix in a 212. However, sometimes I think of trying two Redbacks again. My Splawn 412 is Redback/V30 in an X pattern. I am going to be getting a Stage Craft diagonal 212 and not sure yet what speakers to run.
