This is so tempting but I can't. I will say Racer absolutely knows his charvels and what a great guitar is. I learned from him these uss years could be some of the best production Charvels made. Free bump and someone should buy this.
Makes sense.
Just another tool to use that may not always work. One man's holy grail is another man's junk, which is exactly how I felt with the 33.
I use 7 strings at the very most and with a good amp (in my opinion) you don't need anything like this. I certainly did not and sold that 33...
Damn, sorry for your loss. I never know what to say to people regarding death but don't blame yourself or the venue. It's just not something people have control over.
I guess I can only speak for myself here but you can always talk to the fellow gear nerds. We all have at least one thing in...
After much debate, while I've never had a roasted neck AND they're actually cheaper then the NON roasted, I ended up ordering the Amarok today instead.
It was the all black body vs the flame that ultimately made me pass on the fusion.
Hopefully it is a good player, will post about it when it...
Definitely a badass Kelly. I couldn't ever sit down with one comfortably so its not something I'd get but I'm curious about the bit of his custom pickups, where as the actual guitar comes with a parallel axis instead of making a custom pickup like he said he did for his.
Didnt know that, thanks for the info and now curious about Friedman guitars haha.
I've only had one "modern" charvell and it was the 88 reissue.
It wasn't horrible but I could feel the difference next to my other Charvel I had at the time (2005 Pointy reissue)
What other amps would you say are like this? Regarding the not needing a boost.
A Larry amp is something I will never have and I've come to terms with that but I think maybe a Wizard amp is sort of my bucket list amp and I'm guessing those amps are the same in that regard.
I guess boost is a subjective term.
I prefer more saturation and go for clean boosts I guess vs the tube screamer type. I do love the Maxon 808 but usually prefer to just add more of what's already there vs cutting all the lows.
Now that looks incredible.
Just saw a post in a charvel thread with someone saying Chubtone picked up where Charvel left off in the 90s or whatever, a true hot rodded Superstrat.
Would love to try one based off that alone.
I am that boost guy, I boost everything. I cannot even think of an amp I've had that I didnt boost.
Even the JP2C with internal boost I used an external instead. Lord give me the amp that has enough juice to not need to boost.
Larry's are just not...
