    New Diezel Day

And the alternative... Sounds fantastic. Only played it for a few mins so far, but it really does sound very good. Very musical lead channel, fat sounding. Fantastic cleans, and Texas mode is killer too! After initially stating the Bogner is "world's better", I'm gonna actually spend some time...

My Mesa 2x12 just does not sound as good as my Bogner 4x12

Obviously I will reserve proper judgement until I get my Einstein by the end of the week, however, with a Roadster, it just doesn't sound as good. It sounds smaller - which I guess is a given - but not just in terms of physical size, in terms of tone too. It's also not anywhere near as bouncy...

So how similar are Bogner and Diezel cabs?

I keep hearing the comparison. I picked up a Mesa 2x12 yesterday, but I've already gone back to my Bogner 4x12 even before the Einstein gets here. I'll obviously compare the two with the Diezel but I have a feeling which one will win. Which brings me to, how similar are the Diezel and Bogner...

    Joe Satriani is sterile.

Discuss. EDIT: For what it's worth, this is not my opinion. I think he's a great player and can actually play with restraint, something that a lot of shredders could learn I guess.

Why can't I locate Olaf's Einstein mod thread!?

I must be blind/retarded/both

How do the Diezels take pedals?

Thinking of running the Fulldrive 2 into the Einstein for more bluesy tones, but I think Texas mode will trounce it   Anyone running pedals into theirs?

Do I need to buy a UK 240V Diezel here or is 230V ok?

Just curious, if I were to purchase a Diezel from a German store or something.

So can somebody run me through something, MIDI/Einstein wise

So, I have some experience with MIDI from past rigs with Mesa and the Herbert. If I were to mod the Einstein to select between the three modes in Ch1, am I right in thinking this uses a couple of the speaker jacks? Do these then become switching jacks that could be switched by something such as...

Think I'm finally gonna join the Diezel camp...

As soon as my Mark IIC+ sells, I should be purchasing an Einstein  I have a question though; It can be controlled with a GCX or such like, even once the "mode" mod has been performed?

Just got back from NFL at Wembley Stadium!

That was awesome. You guys know how to do sport as a huge spectacle. It was New Orleans Saints 37-32 San Diego Chargers for those wondering. High scoring game, great entertainment, just a really cool day. Although, there were a few confusing moments when my loose grasp of the rules got the...

    Short Mark IIC+ video

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2dzR_bqREwM I'll make another once I retube it early in the week. Sorry for the slop.

It IS possible to switch the Einstein with a GCX, right?

Or something similar? Although, I would have to run the TimeFactor in "Bypass", as the FX loop isn't switchable, correct?

CLIP: Guitar Rig 3 version of Enter Sandman

It's not perfect, but hey. I didn't finish recording the leads yet, so I left them out of the mix. I adjusted the mix slightly just now by panning two copies of the backing track left and right rather than one right down the middle - it's mono for some reason. This might make it a tad bassier...

Quick Einstein question, regarding the loop

Is it always on or is it switchable? Thanks

Seriously considering offloading my XTC for Einstein setup

Einstein 50w head with either a 1 or 2x12. Long story short, I live in an apartment in London, and due to our flatmates bailing on us, my girlfriend and I are gonna have to move to a smaller place in the new year. I'm also living in a huge city, with no car, so getting a 4x12 around is...

How do YOU feel about speaker cable upgrades?

Do you believe you can hear a difference between lower and higher end cables? I own three speaker cables - George Ls, Planet Waves and Evidence - and I really do believe each sounds better than the last in the order I listed them. For example, to me, the George L's sounds the thinnest and a...

Anyone here played an EBMM Luke?

How was it? How did you find the single coils? I want something to replace a Universe, something with singles, and I guess ideally HSS. I've looked at Fenders and I figure although I don't love EMGs, I adore EBMM guitars - so why not get another right? - and I've seen a few people say the EMGs...
