Yea, they ship with .010-.052 but I felt like the strings either needed to be lighter for a 70s thing or heavier for a jazz thing. As it was, it seemed like it was in an in-between place that I didn't care for.

Scofield uses roundwounds but I switched it to flats for my jazz hack playing.

That's funny! I have the exact same Ibanez and it's what I've been playing today but I thought there was no way anyone else would say that! LOL!!! I've got flatwound 11s on it and it's a great playing guitar.

No one else has probably heard of this album but it immediately comes to mind because the songs could have been heavier but it the overall sound, especially the guitars, really holds it back.

If you don't love it then definitely don't get it. The strings shouldn't be a probably since they originally shipped with 9's in standard tuning.

I have one and it's typical primer gray. I don't think it has any green in it. Maybe it was the lighting or sweat coloring it? :dunno: It does look lighter or darker depending on the lighting.

Do you have to set the tap temp by hand? Not very convenient for a live pedal board.
