Mesa Boogie Mark 2C+ SRGX / Mesa Strategy 400 clips

The C+ The C+ is different in a way that you can't explain, until you hear it. More dynamic and clear than a III/IV, if that makes any sense.

    Mesa Boogie

Not mine, but I have heard this 180W Coli C+, good and loud.

    Jackson Greed thread

It helps bring back the mids that are lost with a Floyd Rose floating bridge, giving a more "hardtail" guitar sound. It is in the Parts>Guitar Accessories section.

EMG-X Lukather set and Strat presence control added as well as the brass trem block, coated springs, and brass spring hook. Picture before the EMG change. I think that the third knob in this picture was the EMG Afterburner control at the time...

    New Jackson USA Series

Still got my 1998 USA SL-1 with Custom Shop "Black Cherry" paint and final assembly. Brass block, and EMG mods. It's not going anywhere, considering that it cost me $1600 new. $4500 is an insane price, even all these years later, for a USA Jackson.

Glad I only paid $1600 for my SL-1 with Black Cherry custom color back in 1998.

I paid the most for power and gas last month for the last 8 years.

    Dan has passed

Dan seemed like a fun, have a good time guy, this a huge loss for his family, and the people on this message board. R.I.P.

Sad day, for sure. I have instructed those involved what to do with my gear, when my time is up.

What are you using for a volume boost in the loop?

Ep booster stays on all the time, RC booster for leads/split coil volume equality.

    What are the biggest-sounding 2x12's?

Another vote for a pair of MESA EVM-12L thiele cabs, stacked or spread out. Or the EVM-12L metal grille halfback with the top blocked off in the back.

    2022 Gibson Les Paul Standard 50s Goldtop....NGD

Mine has Schaller tuners, bone nut, a plane and refret at Gibson restoration, and Tonepros bridge and aluminum tailpiece. Yes, mine stays in tune. RS guitarworks electronics and SD Pearly Gates and Custom Custom pickups. Pancake body and 3-piece neck, everything that is supposed to be wrong...

    The Les Paul dilemma

I have a Tom Anderson Cobra solidbody, that has the same wood makeup and scale length as my goldtop LP. Different body shape with the rear cutaway, and laid back armrest. 5 way pickup switch with a pull tone knob to split the coils of both humbuckers in position 3. They also offer the double...

    2022 Gibson Les Paul Standard 50s Goldtop....NGD

I agree, my #1 1973 model since the late 1980's.

Throw that pickguard in the case, where it belongs. My (except one) Anderson guitars are chambered, and that is how it will stay.

Mesa Half Back Cab vs Stiletto/Traditional

Smaller cubic foot volume per speaker is likely the reason that the half-back cabs are more punchy sounding. Less room for the sound to resonate amongst the cabinet itself.

    Early Mark IIB coliseum serials

The very first Boogie that I heard was a IIB combo with the Post FX Level mod. It was a beast, and leaded me to trade my Laney 100 Pro Tube 100 for a Mark I head that also had an effects loop added with the control just like the B+ mod. With an old Boss OD-1 out front, it was a monster, but VERY...
