Seems like everyone of of the last 10 or so of these I have had, have gone bad within a few days of use. I put a new one in my voodoo bogen vplexi and it sounded great in V1. Come back the next day to fire the thing up and let a friend play, and it's white as a ghost. This is true of every EH...

I am starting a new project very soon. Looking for song suggestions and open to just about anything. Right now i'm thinking along the lines of Black Crowes, ZZTop, Pat Travers, etc.

I need to get a good, all around vocal mic, nothing to fancy. Basically will be used for backup vocals and yelling at the crowd once in a while. SM58 a good choice or is there something else I should be looking at?
