Always played and recommended low/moderate output buckers with any Diezel.
That was until I played Rebel Yells.
Those are now installed on 2 of my main Lesters and I love how they sound with all amps - but especially my Diezels.
Nope. And that's what I love about them. Sure sure, I've been known to stick my CAL Mk.4:23Pro clean boost in front of all my amps, but that's less about the amp and more about making whatever magic my guitar is producing just "that much more", but it's never a necessity with my Diezels.
almost 5 years later and you've returned ?
we can't help you unless you help us. but one thing seems evident - if you don't get a Diezel - you will be back here again - somewhere between now and another 5 years from now
Diezels are either "all-in" or "hard-pass" amps. There's no middle...
Jesus, this question is basically the DNA of the entire Rig-Talk evolution.
Too many to name, but after many years of many amps, my signature gives what works for me - as they're polar opposites to one another in a very complimentary way (Bogners and Diezels). And just because these don't get...
Perhaps, or it's just one of them things where once you know, you know, you know? And then that starts a chain reaction with other cats who don't know....till they know.

They eat other high-gainers for breakfast and offer a very unique sound that's all their own. MVs work fine at keeping things sub-nuclear, but I still use my CatporX to attenuate to get the power section cooking. They just sound "different but awesome". And they feel amazing. Maybe not...
Been using one of the OG Fulltone Clyde Deluxe units for a LONG time. Bitch is, it's gotten noisy. Too noisy to keep on my board. Sent *several* emails to Mike/Support re: getting a new pot that I could solder in - nada. Nothing.
It's my fave wah, but maybe that's just because it's been...
OT to actual thread but - ya, this was my experience with the Mk.I Herbert... haven't tried a Mk.III but also don't feel the need to. Bases - covered - but back to the OP...
Get something fkn weird and raunchy man, I'm sticking to my Knucklehead KTre - if ya haven't tried one yet - do...
