I've been using Neutrogena Deep Clean for years, but do you think switching brands will give me more of 'brown' skin tone? Wonder what Ed uses?
I could use a new stylist too. This guy is charming, confident, and elegant.
I came across some 'in-studio' youtube videos of this band several years ago when I was searching for Bogner Ecstasy clips. Always meant to check out an album but forgot. I previewed their 2010 release on iTunes yesterday and I really dig it. They fall somewhere between progressive rock/metal...
I'm looking for an entry level ribbon mic and have heard positive reviews on the Nady. It's very affordable too. Any experience? I already have a 57, 58, Blue and Shure condensers, but want a ribbon to round out the collection. Also looking at a Guage-USA U87 clone..not sure which to go for.
This sounds so good to me. Has that certain "sheen" to it. That ultra clear ringing sound (which I also hear in some Cameron clips), almost like there's a touch of chorus mixed in.

I have stated many times that I dislike these speakers, especially with Marks. They are scooped and can be woofy on the low end and buzzy/piercing on the treble side. I'm a fan of rich midrange speakers like Weber Legacy/Scumback/Mesa C90 other high powered GB and H type speakers...
Anyway, I...
Grabbed my buddy's 1960B for $240, already knowing that I'm not a big fan of the G12T-75s. So, I'm thinking either toss my two 16 ohm Weber Gray Wolf's in there and do the X-Pattern thing since they're very similar to V30s (only less spikey) and I know that's a good mix, or go with something...
New Jerry model. I think it's awesome! Love the wood combination (maple body, maple neck, ebony board) and I'm pretty much a JC fanboi and huge G&L fan, so it goes without saying. Want.
I went to try a Twin Jet through Uber Kab last weekend, which I really enjoyed. That amp surprised me, as channel 1 could almost get into nu-metal scooped territory while the 'Uber' channel was much more creamy and smooth. I was expecting channel 1 to be almost XTC blue meets Marshall only...
I grabbed this from dooredge (Jerod) last week. It was previously modified by forum member, XSSIVE.
I've been using a switchless Tremonti Morley and while I still like it, I was looking for a wah with the classic Crybaby tone, only with a bit more personality. This thing sounds awesome! Sort...
Most of what I currently own, I've either traded for on the RT classifieds (as well as a couple other forums and ebay for effects) or I've heard about it here and ended up buying it.
Got my Mark IV from lolzgreg, my favorite guitar that I own from Juggz, Bogner Red from Brad, POD HD500...
I spent some time with a vintage 4-knob Butler Tube Driver and it rocked soo f'n hard with my Mark. Sounded great with my tube screamer, octafuzz and it stacks so well with a compressor.
I didn't have the $ or I would've bought it for sure.
My question-who has directly compared the 3 knob...
I just noticed that Bogner uploaded this XTC vid. It sounds awesome for the most part and really shows what these amps can do! Tasty playing.
It also reaffirms the only thing I don't love about the 101B which is the sort of "stringy" high end with that white hot sizzle on the red channel...
I sold my Microvibe to fund the Bogner Red and now I'm starting the search for a good univibe again. I wasn't in love with the Microvibe and I actually like the vibe fx in the Pod HD better. The Micro could never really nail that deep "swoosh" and I only liked it with the controls...
WOW, Holy fucking shit, ballsack explosion and all that stuff!
This thing is AMAZING! I have been through a ton of high end pedals in the last few years and this one makes every single one of them sound and feel like cheap toys. Also, I've played every XTC with the exception of the classic...
To me, this sounds better than 99% of the modded Marshall clips that people post up here...
I don't know German, but the first minute or so when he's playing sounds great.
Flame on!
